I have surfed for 5 years, and now attend UCSD. One day, I realized that the sun is becoming stronger each year; it is as if you could feel from the glare that the UVA/UVB is getting more intense. I worried when my eyes ached & blurred after one session. Because the sun start coming down after 1 p.m., you have no choice to stare at it as you look for the incoming waves. I feel lucky that Amazon had this product, because this sunglasses work! It floats, it is light, and blocks the sun effectively. If you don’t feel like wearing it, you could just put it around your neck. The only con is that the frame is a bit small for my face, so I had to stretch it out over time.
Today, my sunglasses broke when I wiped out from a 4 foot wave. I was really disappointed at first, but assumed that there is some type of warranty and contacted the seller, “Eyewear and More.” The representative, Tony, was understanding and simply told me to ship it back so that he can send me the new one. He apologized for the inconvenience, but I was grateful and sold by his great service. If you surf/ do other watersport activities, I strongly recommend this eyewear. Protect your sight!
